ABFG
The group’s aims are to promote the study, conservation and recording of the variety of species of fungi which are to be found within the county of Sussex.
The SFG is open to everyone who would like to develop an interest in the fascinating world of fungi.
Members get together at organised events throughout the year including recording forays, microscope workshops and identification workshops.
We have a newsletter sent out three times a year filled with topical information concerning the world of fungi, news of forthcoming events, member’s photos and foray reports from the season.
The group is made up from members with all levels of experience from beginners to experts and all are welcome.
Please take your time and explore the site which will be updated on a regular basis and feel free to get involved, this is your website.
Members are encouraged to send in your photos and news of sightings from around Sussex.
